Started in 2008, Kids Festival is one of Smile Liberia's official annual fundraiser and awareness events. Kids Festival brings together children and families from around Charlotte to enjoy an afternoon of fun and educational activities, while making them aware of the situation of underprivileged children and families in Liberia.
Unlike any conventional fundrasier, Kids Festival also serve as a community involvement initiative for Smile Liberia. Kids Festival allows Smile Liberia's officers and members to engage the community and emphasize the importance of education not only for children in Liberia, but also children here in the US who often do not take advantage of the opportunities they have.
